This sculpture was born from the moment my firstborn left for university. I attempted to create a space that embodies the themes of unconditional acceptance, love, and opportunity. The choice of laminated wood, with its combination of strength and flexibility, was deliberate. The shapes of the individual pieces, universal in their ability to encircle the human form, symbolize the unity of individuals coming together to create a space filled with opportunities. The piece's central opening invites viewers to explore their choices, offering a sense of freedom and autonomy. Whether one chooses to enter or observe from the outside, the sculpture invites engagement, offering an embrace without confinement.
