"Flow" was site-specific work for the Black Mountain College ReHappening in Black Mountain, NC. It consisted of 8 large wax bowls, 24" in diameter, through which masses of thread passed. I use thread as a metaphor for individual thoughts and experiences flowing from one vessel to the next, creating strength. It addresses the idea of our shared experience and connectedness. The work was installed between an accessibility ramp connecting two of the original Black Mountain College Buildings.
