At the start of 2020, I shifted from sculpture to painting while alone in my studio. In February, I began making masks and explored N95 mask production using experimental non-woven fabrics I had previously received. My initial plan was to paint on these materials, leading to an unexpected blend of mask-making and experimental work in my studio.
